In Book 5, Egg reveals the adventurers' next destination—Greenland! Spartan, Katie, Max, Tor, and Grimm the dog find themselves in a place known as the Land of the Midnight Sun because in summer, the sun never sets. It is also home to some of the biggest glaciers on earth!

They soon learn that a group of men have gone missing while on an expedition. Spartan and the team must search for them. Before long, they are caught up in a treacherous avalanche and trapped on a glacier in the icy sea water! Will they find a way back to the mainland before it's too late?
