Anger and murder
More murder for the gang but it takes a strange turn. They eventually find the culprit… A person right under their noses! Cassie is allowed to chase a dream and the database she dreams up actually helps them in the end! Everything turns out great and a new home is on the horizon. I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Cassie has two pet projects she's working on, in addition to her job helping solve murders... Not that it feels like the murders have the worst timing, but sometimes a girl just wants to go on a date, do the research that fascinates her, or create the first paranormal DNA database.
I really enjoy this series of done in one whodunit quick reads. The cases are interesting, though this one was a bit easier to put the pieces together on, the world building is interesting as the different paranormal species/types learn more about one another, and the dynamic between Cassie and her three guys, Isaac, Zack and Hadrian remains both fun and engaging.
