This book makes the case that learning about the values of different cultures leads to a better working environment. Though the subtitle is “A Guide for Indians to Understand and Communicate Successfully with U.S. Americans,” it is useful for all foreigners to understand the American values and what influenced the development of American beliefs. As regards the author, it is also a personal journey for me (born in Sri Lanka) to become cross-culturally aware and skillfully engage in this cultural dance. It is useful for all businesses with a global outreach.
