The expendable few
Hard hitting science fiction with enough twists and turns to merge high adventure with space opera in a brand new way! Randolph Lalonde sets the bar high for those who wish to keep up....
Major major disappointment!
This book does not even read like all the ones before. iIt’s like it’s not even the same author. I’m disappointed in the characters and the behavior. It’s like you’ve made Wheeler indestructible and all knowing, all seeing and it’s yeah I agree with everybody else’s opinion, this book is a major disappointment and when I read the next one I’ll decide whether or not it was worth me getting the rest of them.
Expendable Few Dissappointing
I have read all the Spinward Fringe offerings to date. I have enjoyed them so much that I had to at one point forced myself not to download the next installment so that I could finish a project rather than getting drawn into the story and spend hours reading. Needless to say, I have looked forward to Expendable Few with great anticipation and saved it for a business trip. I sincerely hope that this is not the direction that future installments of the main story will take. The story was more convoluted and I felt little connection to the characters. The author used many more expletives in his writing this go around which may be a popular thing to do these days but is a substitute for more thoughtful writing. Hopefully the hours I invested in Expendable Few will be useful when the the next episode of Spinward Fringe comes out.
