Gave Me courage to move
In 1994 one of my children broke my heart. You know, the heart ache that squeezes your chest and you can't believe you can actually take another breath? I don't even remember how her first book came into my hands. Placed there by a loving Heavenly Father who had more for me to do in is life than lie on my bed wig silent tears running down the sides of my face. But her books encouraged me to get up and live again. And to smile, when I'd thought laughter & smiles were over for me. In 1995 I Saw Barbara at a Women of Faith Conference. At her book table she passed out large lumps of beautiful blue glass. Reminders there are always "splashes of joy" in the cesspools of life. It's 2016. Cleaning out a change jar my grandson found my blue stone. I had the opportunity when he was going through his own tough time to share with him, there will always be splashes of joy if we trust in our Lord to bring us through. I hope God reveals the joy still in your in your life in the hard hurtful times. 😇
