Nezha knew he was unlucky; being born in the outer circle was basically a sentence to an early death after spending your life working in factories to manufacture products you'd never be able to afford. However, Nezha's beauty made him the perfect candidate to become a Rentboy, and after finding some success at a brothel in the inter-circle, he's convinced he's only one good night away from changing his family's lives forever.

Unfortunately, everything goes to hell when the brothel unexpectedly shuts down, forcing Nezha to get in on a heist to steal Xiandan; a highly addictive drug that has a 1/50 chance of mutating the user's DNA, turning them into a superhuman known as a "Splicer".

When the heist inevitably goes south, Nezha finds himself gifted with more power than he could've imagined. He immediately comes to an intoxicating realization; he finally has what it takes to change his life, and he has no intention of wasting this opportunity. He'll join forces with Yang Jian, the leader of a rock band/cyber rebel group, and also Ao Bing, son of the city's wealthiest and most powerful CEO.

Together they will bring down Chentang's literal and metaphorical walls, while proving that their bond is the strongest force on the planet
