I can’t get enough of this manga!
Proper plot progression, succeeds from failures
“Success from failure” is something this series does well. The protagonists don’t just predictably win every situation, instead they find ways around it and put in earnest effort to correct their course. The daughter struggling with school, the fathers plans constantly failing, even the mothers struggle to provide and care for her household is synonymous with real normal family struggles despite their “charade”.
What keeps this story so engaging is the authors ability to end every scene with a foreshadowing event, be it a simple comment from a character or a gesture/action exposing new personality traits. Speaking of new personality traits, the new characters introduced in this volume are wonderful! Each family member has new characters to interact with in their own world which expands each of their backgrounds and sets up potential plot twists and paths.
