Squirt’s Reef Adventure is a fun story of a penguin who visits a coral reef to see the types of sea creatures that are there. This is a collaborative book between Mrs. Torry’s Grade 2 class and Mr. Sand’s grade 11/12 graphic arts class. This book displays the result of the collaboration between the students. Beautiful & informative book created by students
This delightful, colorful book is a collaborative effort between second graders and high school graphic art students. It is full of informative about sealife - and is as much fun to look at as it is to read. An outstanding example of what can happen when students are given the opportunity to become authors!

This is a wonderful book! What a tremendouns idea of collaboration. As soon as I downloaded the book and played the audio, my fourth grade student stopped playing with his card game and came over to listen and read the book. The images are fantastic! Beautiful use of color and design. The text provides valuable information for learning, while the young voices narrating, speak to the “students teaching students” approach, which I truly believe in and value. I will certainly pass along this book to our elementary teachers in my district.
