jack, are you bad mouthing Stacey?
Stakey? More like “Snakey”!
And also, while we’re on the topic: Rachel Griffin? More like “Snakechel” Griffin. And … Ethan? More like Eth-Ann M. Martin, the figurehead on the cover of all of these scinitillating novels, even though this one was written by the effervescent and sturdy Suzanne Weyn (that’s right, I’m a Weyniac, and Tanner is a Suzanne Man).
We came here not to praise famous men, but to censure famous traitors. And their apologists: That’s right, we’re talking about you, future reviewers of this novel. You come here with your defenses of Stacey, your sneering condescension towards Claudia, your vile disregard for the law [N.Y. PEN. LAW § 240.20 : Disturbing the Peace]. But you didn’t reckon with the Mongoose Men Guys. That’s right, we eat snakes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And brunch (on the weekends).
Book was good. Stacey was not. You are not. Do something with your lives.
