I have seen this and other Star Trek movies. Now I read them on novels so I can enjoy Star Trek the knowledgeable way.
Fantastic
The book goes in depth to explain so many things the movie could only spend a few seconds touching on. It was fascinating to see Kirk’s decisions explored and finally see more development of his obviously selfish reasons for wanting control of the Enterprise that Dr. McCoy accused him of, and him coming to term with it. Likewise it was great seeing Spock’s thoughts and motivations, and him finally able to see that accepting his human half is necessary and, in fact, logical.
A quick read, but I enjoyed every minute.
