The mischievous creature who calls himself Q has subjected Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the Starship Enterprise™ to many of their strangest experiences. But little had been known of Q's curious existence or that of the advanced dimension from which he comes. But now Picard knows more than he ever dreamed about an ancient conflict whose consequences might spell the doom of the entire galaxy.
The galactic barrier has fallen and Q's oldest enemy is free once more. Captain Picard and his crew find themselves in the middle of a cosmic war between vastly powerful entities. The future of the Federation may be at stake, but how can mere mortals turn the tide in such a superhuman battle? Picard has to find a way, or neither the Q Continuum nor the galaxy will survive.

The Q Continuum series
It is a good story to follow through all three books! It brought many conical characters, concepts and scenes into play in a very ingenious manner that only enhanced the story beyond its own concept.
However, the most annoying thing is that there were way too many typos and not very well thought out sentences. I can understand the tricks of writing to make sentences fall within the side-to-side margins, but my point goes beyond such tricks. For this reason alone, this was an infuriating read. Hence, one full star removed as a rating.
Being forced to read beyond all the glaring mistakes does not mean the story is not worth reading.
Good story but too many typing errors
I enjoyed the story but it was full of editing errors. Syntax errors abound in this book… Who edited this? I could not believe all the errors I encountered in this book. For a Star Trek book to have so many syntax errors is appalling…
Spellbinding adventures through trek
Greg Cox spins a marvelous tale throughout all areas of Star Trek in this three-novel series. I enjoyed the intricate blending of historical lost species like the T’Kon empire, deep space nine, Voyager, the original series (expect some long awaited explanations for some of the godlike entities!), and many references to characters and events from Star Trek the next generation.
Long time trek fans will find plenty to love, with references throughout that will make you smile!
