An alien scientist invents the Intergalactic Inversion Drive, an engine system that transcends warp drive -- and the U.S.S Enterprise™ will be the first to test it! The Klingons attempt to thwart the test, but a greater danger looms when strange symptoms surface among the crew -- and time becomes meaningless.
Now Captain Kirk and his friends face their greatest challenge -- to repair the fabric of the Universe before time is lost forever!
An old favorite
This book’s been around a while, but it holds up beautifully, even in light of all of the developments within the Trek universe since it was written. I like to return to it every few years, not only for nostalgia and such, but also because of the way she makes it truly Trek - beyond sci-fi and into the humanities, philosophy, ethics, etc. A pleasure to read and re-read.
An all time classic!
Jumping out of our galaxy with a brilliant glass spider at your side? How can you beat that? One of my favorite ST novels of all time! A must read!
