This is my first Star Wars novel which was under the YA (Young Adult) genre. Here is what I can say to anyone who wants to read this novel. If you like Padmé and her handmaidens and want to read a novel focused on them, yeah this is a good novel. If you just prefer a novel which fills in major gaps not mentioned in the films then just go with the non YA novels.
I am not saying that this novel was bad in any way, it was just an interesting read which made me view Padmé in a different perspective.
Queen’s Shadow Review
This is an amazing book to read if you’re ready for a deeper look at Padmé’s character and a surprisingly beautiful look at her handmaidens and just what they actually do. It’s an amazing book and general and I recommend it for any Star Wars reader. Casual or devout.
