Not the best.
I don’t suggest to og Star Wars fans. But for animeXStarWars fans, I’d recommend it. There are so many bad (mostly) and good Star Wars books out there…but personally I’d say the movies are better ;]

Just Bad
I love Star Wars and Japanese culture, but I tried twice to get through this book and couldn’t do it. Boring and badly written.
Show good, book bad.
If you came here because of Disney+ show, I’d recommend staying away. It starts off somewhat interesting, but ultimately fails to keep characters consistent, and ultimately lets them stagnate and become boring. I couldn’t finish the book (I read ~300 pages of it).
I was extremely excited because I adored the episode on Disney+, but ultimately, a lot of the items set up on the show are either turned around, left undeveloped, or changed to fit a lackluster narrative, where everyone becomes friends at the end. So question from the episode that I looked forward to being answered was either not answered or not expounded upon.
