وصف الناشر
Carmen Dula and her husband spent six years travelling to the distant home of the powerful race known as "The Others," in the hopes of forging a truce. But by the time Carmen returns to Earth, fifty years have passed-and the Earthlings have built a flotilla of warships to defend Earth against The Others.
But The Others have more power than anyone could imagine-and they will brook no insolence from the upstart human race.

Good book and follow up
This was a good follow up to Marsbound. It was enough different that it was compelling and added to the myths of who the Others are and helped to add some depth to Carmen and Paul's relationship. Which is really where the majority of the growth and development for the story came from.
That being said. This book can stand on its own, and in my opinion is where the series should have ended.
