StarGirl - The OffSpring

In the town of Saint Michael, fifteen-year-old Nubia Santomás is groomed to be her second cousin’s wife by her family, friends and neighbors. As her fiancée and everyone else make themselves ready for the long-awaited wedding, Nubia learns about a secret that they have kept hidden from her. 

Nubia sets out to dig out the hidden truth. What she discovers sends her life spinning in different directions. She finds herself weighed down by a debt she “has” to pay and feels trapped by the traditions her family upholds and also by the culture of the land she lives in.
