Publisher Description
Chris Jordan swore when his partner died in January of 1979, he'd never find another lover. He didn't want another one. But six months later, he still yearns for the man he loved.
Chris finds a letter from Steve telling him to visit Start Me Up, an electronics store. What could his partner have planned? What he finds at the store blows his mind, but will he be able to accept the desires of his partner -- especially a seemingly robotic version of Steve?
Only time and patience will tell if these two lovers can find the passion they shared or if Steve's death meant the end of everything.

Great read
A nice but short read. Chris’s partner Steve died of AIDS. Chris is distraught and believes he will never find nor want another partner. Until six months later when he finds a letter from Steve. This may be a short read but it’s a sad story and a great one at that.-Enjoy

Deep abiding love will bring you back.
Chris loved steve who died of the gay cancer, (AIDS). Chris grieved with a heart tearing agony. Six months later, he struggled to remember Steve's smell, which caused more grief. Steve left a letter asking Chris to visit a shop which turned out to be Bob's electronic shop. There, Chris found a robotic Steve look alike who promised he was Steve. What do you do with that? How do you manage that? On the one hand, his beloved Steve is back. On the other hand, Steve is dead! What's next? How is Steve not dead? Is this man an imposter? Who is Bob? You spend your time reading between, sniffling and awwwwweing. Good story. I wish it was longer. I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.
