WHY DO DO-IT-YOURSELF…
Single mom Anne Edmond can handle—and hand-make—just about anything. From table settings to party favors, floral arrangements to nursery décor, there is no project her creativity and a glue gun can't tackle. But dating? That's a whole 'nother story. Case in point: Mike Everett. He's a gorgeous mechanic and known car-whisperer, a man who can work with auto parts like nobody's business. And he has thrown a monkey wrench into Anne's carefully-crafted life…
WHEN YOU CAN DO IT TOGETHER?
One look at Anne is enough for Mike to know that she's no fixer-upper. She's perfect just the way she is—and the chemistry between them works like a charm. Mike's always been a no-strings kind of guy, but Anne's impressive self-reliance—and gorgeous exterior—gives him pause. This time, a fast joyride just doesn't seem like enough. But first he has to convince Anne that he means to take her all the way…
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Delightfully playful, Michaels's second contemporary (after Blame It on the Mistletoe) marks her as one to watch. Mechanic Mike Everett drops his niece off at six-year-old Claire's birthday party and is a bit overwhelmed by the sheer amount of aqua and raspberry decorations created by Claire's mother, talented designer and crafter Anne Edmond. Despite feeling out of place in Anne's world, he can't resist his attraction to her and begins following her lifestyle blog, My Perfect Little Life, just to learn more about her. Mike can't understand why Anne rarely mentions the online lifestyle business that supports her and Claire, but her success is what drove her ex-husband away. Mike decides that he'll convince Anne that they belong together, and he devotes his energy to winning her and Claire's affection. Michaels writes warm, believable characters, and readers will look forward to discovering how Anne's blogging partners, Callie (a baker) and Lindsey (who repurposes antiques), find their own romances as the series continues.

Start Me Up
Great read. You pull for this couple the whole time. Interesting to see how our insecurities can get in the way.
SWEET AND SIZZLING ROMANCE
Received an ARC for an honest review from St. Martin's Press via Netgalley. Loved this Sweet and Sizzling Romance
Mike Everett has been flirty with Katie for awhile and he can't wait for their hot date he has planned for Saturday, when his sister calls and asks him to drop his niece Bailey at a Birthday Party. He can't wait to drop her off and get back home, But that all changes when Anne Edmonds opens the front door. Suddenly he is captivated by Anne and is not in any hurry to leave, and ends up staying for the entire Birthday Party so he could get to know everything about Anne, and he is thoroughly taken by everything he see and hears from her warm inviting home to her fabulous food as well as her creativity that surround him at the party. Anne is a single divorced mother who works as a party planner and writes a blog "My Perfect Little Life" with two of her friends. Anne also thinks that Mike is hot with his muscular arms and shoulder and scruffy rugged good looks. Mike is a confident sexy alpha male who makes a living as a mechanic working on cars and he gets paid handsomely rebuilding old classic cars. He has enjoyed the bachelor life but after that afternoon he can't think of anything or anyone but Anne, he doesn't even want to go on his hot date that his niece Bailey announces to Anne as they are leaving when Anne surprises herself and invites Mike and Bailey for a picnic in the park later that day.
But what will that hot date think when she finds out about Anne? Will Mike be able to give up his bachelor ways for a single mom and her daughter? You will just have to read this sweet romantic story. This is the first story that I have read by Nicole Michaels. Loved this sweet and sizzling romance. Can't wait to read more stories by her. I loved this story and all of its witty, flirty clever banter and the steamy sizzling chemistry between these two as well as these great main characters. It was so beautifully written that it was hard to put this story down and it kept me up, into the wee hours even on a work night. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SWEET AND SIZZLING ROMANCE STORY. 5 + STARS.
