Bellamy Carmichael’s finally come home after staying away for six years.
There’s just one problem, Luke Carter…
Six years ago she seduced him, but a realization had him turning his back on her and became the cause of her long exodus. But with her brother’s imminent deployment Bellamy knows she’s bound to see him.
Luke Carter made the mistake of crossing a line he never should’ve crossed six years ago…
He knows he’s the reason why Bellamy avoids home, and with her coming back home he’s hoping to make things right. He just wasn’t expecting her to look so damn beautiful.
However, there’s one more problem, Bellamy’s been keeping a secret from Luke for past six years. When passion builds between them she knows that she must tell Luke the truth, but will it bring them closer together?
Or will it drive them apart for good?
A fairly good read, the storyline was very compelling to me for some reason. The desire for the truth to come out was overwhelming and the drama that unfolded in that quest was wicked. I loathed the main male lead through out the majority of the book, I've never read such a selfish character before. His thoughts and reasonings were outrageous, and cruel to the main female lead, he does however find his redemption towards the end of the book. The female lead is human, her reasoning and way of coping with her situation was so understandable. To go through something like she did, any women in her position could of or would of made the same decision. Their romance though was strong and consuming, the chemistry was definitely true and was sweet to read blossom. The supporting characters were awesome and a good definition of what a supportive family does and how they act towards each-other. I look forward to reading their stories in the next book.
Amazing book i wanted to know her reaction when she saw her daughters photo other than that i highly recommend
I loved this story and the characters. The story flows through and the characters are interesting and entertaining. I felt like I was there with them through all their challenges.
