State v. Hodge

The opinion of the court was delivered by This is a criminal action in which the defendant is charged
with selling securities without having registered them with the
securities commissioner as required by K.S.A. 17-1255, and with
failure to register as a broker-dealer in connection with the
sale of such securities as required by K.S.A. 17-1254. Appeal has
been duly perfected by the defendant from a conviction on each
count. The underlying question is whether the appellant was engaged in
selling securities.
