Stellar Stakes

When a busted Hellcat leaves smuggler Jarret Spragg and his partner Sabrina Forro stranded at the Grand Halo—an orbital casino dripping with neon and bad decisions—they figure a few drinks and rigged tables will kill the time.

Then red-masked mercs crash the party, guns hot, led by disgraced officer Morgan Gunther. Their target: the Heart of the Galaxy, a relic worth more than every credit in the room, sealed inside the casino's unbreakable vault.

In minutes the glitz turns to gore. Guests become hostages, guards become corpses, and the house odds flip from credits to corpses.

Now Spragg and Forro are dodging bullets, bluffing killers, and racing fanatics from the Stigmata Order who want the Heart for their own apocalypse. Old ghosts from Sabrina's past slink out of the shadows, and every alliance is a bad bet.

In the Grand Halo, the tables are rigged, the house always wins—and the house just started taking souls.

One wrong play, and they're both out of chips… and breath.
