Terrible characters
The whole "romance" between AJ and Hailey was based off of AJ's lying, manipulation, bribery, and blackmail towards Hailey. No matter what he did, Hailey just went along with it. When they weren't acting like terrible people, they were having sex. This is pretty much the plot for the entire book. I certainly regret spending money on this.
