Still Kicking

Life doesn't stop when you hit your golden years and this collection of short stories demonstrates that. The author is in her seventies herself as are many of the characters in this book. The stories range from humourous, like Oh Brother, which finds three seniors rowing to a deserted island because the Blue Jays are losing, to the darker tale, Obsession, which tells the tale of a babysitter who becomes too attached to the child she is minding. A little quirky but highly readable, Still Kicking is a must read for everyone, regardless of their age.
