The life of Rage Sinclaire ( Gregory Singer LMSW, SBL, SDL) can best be summarized as a journey of various hills and countless valleys. Nonetheless, Rage's unique journey undoubtedly facilitated his growth into the thoughtful, empathetic, and compassionate individual that I have come to know. In his book; "Stinky Poo…. Who Are You?" has tried to walks us through the life of far too many young children in our society today. Out of necessity for survival, these children have learned how to exist without their basic needs being met and how to remain safe from the predators that co-inhabit their personal space daily. Conventionally, Rage was able to capture the depth and the extent of how it feels to live in this impoverished state. Through Stinky Poo's eyes, we can see and co-experience how it feels to be rejected, to mourn the loss of a loved one, and to have a hopeless vision for the future. In this story, Rage honestly and boldly conveys the true resiliency of children who have overcome life's obstacles by turning what would be stumbling blocks to others into stepping stones of perseverance and determination. Stinky Poo represents the inner strength that we all possess which gives us the resolve and fight necessary to keep us pushing forward despite the odds faced against us. Rage phenomenally illustrates our instinctive nature of adapting and adjusting to the dangerous conditions that we may encounter in life. This story is worth telling because these innate instincts ultimately build our character and shape the self-worth that formulates our very existence
