Publisher Description

Stirabout from an Ulster Pot was first published in 1929. It is an anthology of plays, poems, short stories and articles written by Ruddick Millar.

It was the first book written by Ruddick, published on his 22nd birthday and marked the beginning of a prolific writing career.

The foreword by Richard Rowley says "Mr Ruddick Millar has humour and tenderness, he has that vivid interest in life without which no man can become a writer".

This is the first time that Stirabout has been available since 1929.

A follow up volume, titled "More Stirabout" originally published in 1934 is also now available for iBooks.
