Stolen Corpse

Why steal a corpse? The victim had been hit by a car and badly mangled; the undertaker's restoration job surely couldn't show evidence of murder if the accident had been a homicide. But John J. Edgar's remains, coffin and all, had been stolen from the parlor, and the thief was willing to kill to prevent their return!
