A personal journey through one of the worst financial meltdowns in history.

In hindsight I should have seen the meltdown coming. Our businesses were just doing too well, the economy looked too promising, and money was way too loose. In 2008 the house of cards that the banks and Wall Street had built came tumbling down and took us right with it. The Great Recession swallowed us up with open arms and lead us straight down the path of foreclosure.
