Stolen: Stories Ffom a Violent Childhood by J. Eddie Thornton describes his life, growing up on the streets of inner-city Chicago. Eddie was born into a violent home and raised on violent streets. This is his journey out of a life of violence, and into a life of non-violence.
Stolen is a collection of short stories recounting an angry childhood that is weaved with hope - hope that the cycle of abuse can be halted and a tormented child can learn how to become a man.
