Jake Walker is alone in the Derbyshire Peaklands with a twenty foot immortal dragon made of limestone. Well, Jake thinks Stone's immortal, but the dragon knows otherwise... he's been there before, he's seen what happens when an elemental places her misguided trust in the hands of a human companion, a young boy travelling with his scientist parents to a semi-tropical rainforest on an isolated island.

On this island is a flower, and in the heart of the flower is a miracle...
