Stories, Music, and Imagery

Stories, Music, and Imagery was written to encourage children to discover their own self-worth. This book includes 20 stories, a CD of 20 pieces of classical music correlated to each story, and a guide for adults.


Stories, Music, and Imagery was developed in the Atlanta Public Schools. It has inspired children in elementary and middle school classrooms, after-school, and summer programs. It can be used by teachers in the classroom, counselors working with groups or individual children, and parents with their own children.


The guide for adults gives instructions to read the story, help the children relax, focus attention, and interact with the meaning of the story while listening to beautiful music.
