Stormy Acres

After Jane Ahlrichs fi ancee, Gary Benson, was shot and killed, Janeleft Stormy Acres, the family farm, for Seattle, Washington, to attendhis funeral. There, Jane met Crystal, a young girl who claimed shewas pregnant with Garys child. Crystal didnt want the baby. She and herboyfriend, Buzz, - both alcoholics - were having too much fun drinking,stealing and dealing in drugs. Jane convinced Crystal to let her help takecare of the baby after the birth, for the sake of the baby. And, soon, Janebecame very attached to the little boy, and was frantic that Crystal wouldgive him up for adoption, or that a social service agency would take him,and she would never see him again. Jane had to fi nd a way to help the babyand herself - and fast!
