Strained Relations

Having failed at his relationship with Jared Gruesbeck, and unsure whether or not he should give his ex-lover, Nolan Moran, a second chance, Nicholas Beems feels like his entire life is falling apart before his very eyes. 


Loving two men in totally different ways could not make life any more complicated for Nicholas Beems. Trying to rebuild what he and Nolan shared in the past proves to be more difficult than Nicholas ever imagined. Nicholas doesn't know if his heart can ever forgive Nolan for the ultimate betrayal he has put them through, and as time passes, Nicholas learns that sometimes what the heart wants, the mind isn't always able to overlook. 


Strained Relations is the second book in the Closer Than You Think series. It picks up precisely where it's predecessor Caught Between Then and Now leaves off, following the lives of Nicholas, Tom, Jake, Jared, Gage and Nolan along with other familiar characters and some new ones as well. 


Strained Relations is the continuing story of how difficult it can be sometimes to just find peace of mind in ones life when your relationships, friendships and family connections seem to be strained to the point of complete failure. 


RODNEY ALLEN FLETCHER was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He spent his life there until a move to Colorado in the summer of 2008. He currently resides in Denver, Colorado. He enjoys the outdoors, biking, reading, spending time with friends, visiting family on return trips to the Midwest and of course...writing. 


Strained Relations is Rodney's second novel and the second novel of the Closer Than You Think series.
