What a storyline! Gracelynn and Jeremiah meet at a bonfire party and end up extremely attracted to each other because they both seem strange and quirky to those around them. After the life that Gracelynn has lived and the trauma she has endured, she is very outspoken, and before the party she quits her job and sets up an interview for a better one. The joke is on her though because the interview is with Jeremiah! Knowing it will be somewhat awkward, Jeremiah hires Gracelynn because of her talent, and even more so when he finds out she dated his ex-stepson. They think they will never work because of Jeremiah not wanting to get remarried after the disaster of his marriage, but as they get to know each other they realize the opposite. This book had me reeling though with the ending – I did not see it coming and I was shocked because it wasn’t really something that LLV typically writes into her books, but it’s another reason her writing has me hooked! Can’t wait for the next book!

Gracelynn has been doing n her own for a long time. She doesn’t need anyone. People just let you down but there is something about Jeremiah that she can’t resist.

“That would be like me telling you that your voice offends me. Your voice is so smooth and deep that you could sing me to sleep right now, despite my mild hypothermia.”

There chemistry is off the charts. This story has a total shock factor that had me saying WTH!! Who was the mystery man??? What in the world is she gonna come up with next.

Now I can’t wait to read Bram and Dorcas’s book.

Jeremiah and Gracelynn are one of the best reads of the summer! Lani Lynn vale does it again, she’s made me love yet another couple of hers.

Jeremiah is a simple man. He just wants to bake in his own bakery, spend time with his brothers, and ride his motorcycle. And now that his crazy ex wife and step son are thankfully out of his life he’s been getting on with all of that. He’s even hiring help at the bakery because it’s so busy.

Gracelynn is hopeful she’s seeing the back end of her crazy ex boss/boyfriend. And she’s ready for the next phase of her life. That phase didn’t include hooking up with someone at a party….and then realize he was going to be her boss.

I absolutely loved this book from beginning to end. These two characters are just so good together. They make sense and their chemistry is off the charts! Not going to lie, it’s an emotional roller coaster read for sure but it’s so worth it!
