What do you get when you mix two sexy Atlanta studs, a basketball court, a pimp, a revealing game of Blackjack, a Mississippi redneck, a threesome, and a G-Spot You get Strapped, the story of two friends with common interests who develop an uncommon friendship. Strapped discusses what happens when our sexual identity gets in the way of what we really want. Set in the heart of Bible country, Strapped takes an entertaining look at homophobia, religion, promiscuity, and family values in the Black community.
Unlike the other comment that this book not that good I loved this book I read it in one sitting...and I'm starting the second one as soon as I finish this comment...I love the way the story transitioned...and I love the set up at the end for the next story...
There wasn't any direction to this book. There were many gaps and many questions left unanswered. Not worth the money at all.
I appreciate the conversation that was being started about stud/stud relationships and it's connection to internalized homophobia, but to me it feels like the convo started and didn't have a middle, end or conclusion.
