Stray

I wrote this story in memory of a stray cat that was adopted by me and my husband many years ago. The cat, a young female that we named Tiger, was much beloved and I felt that she deserved her own story. Although this was a long time ago, I still think about her often and what an extraordinary companion she was.

And so, this story is for Tiger and for all those of you who love animals.
