Honorable males? Yes please.
I love reading that critical point in a book where the lead characters realize they got their first impressions totally wrong. That they’ve come to realize that person standing in front of them is honorable, reliable, and so worthy that they’ve fallen even harder. I love that moment for Seraphina and Jehan!
When he comes with her on the second day of their handfast to help her get supplies through to the village she works with and she sees he’s not just a breed soldier but, an honorable male helping her no questions asked? I love it! She’s see that’s maybe there’s more than meets they eye here.
It’s a story of two people forced together for a long time tradition they effects both of their families but ultimately they fall in love with each other tradition be damned! Jehan and Sera’s story was so sweet, I loved it.

I love this book and all the others in the Midnight Breed series! Mrs. Adrian never disappoints and is one of my favorite authors. This book has the perfect amount of action, danger and romance. Wickedly steamy scenes that lead to the HEA we all crave. Five stars are never enough for her books❤️
