Bless me Ultimate
I could not put this book down! I felt like was home reading this book. Being raised in a Mexican American family, my fraternal grandmother a practicing Catholic, healed me. Not in the traditional sense, but with a cats tail. I had a very painful sty in my eye. I could hardly keep my eye open for days. I was visiting my grandmother who only spoke a few words in English. She noticed my discomfort and before I knew it, she wiped my eye with a cats tail! I woke up the next morning, the sty was gone. Ultima reminded me of how important ones heritage is. I will always go back to this book and embrace the fluid way Antonio's life is exposed, how he learns valuable lessons and of course understanding that we can not find our way alone.
