Sturgis Stories
Having ridden bikes for the past 32 years, I have seen many things. This book gives us a look into the Sturgis experience in pictures and words by focusing on five artists that stand out from the crowd. Well worth $1.99 for anyone who has been or may want to go.
Sturgis Stories
Always wondered what happened at the Black Hills motorcycle rally every year….now I know. The stories are great, the photographs flat-out gorgeous, especially the black and white portraiture and street scenes. Love that the artists and artisans were so willing to the let the photographer in….or that the photographer was so good at building rapport, so the reader gets an true inside look. Also Ken’s pinstriping of bikes and helments? Beautiful work, captured by the author’s camera beautifully. Great read. Great ride.
