Thompson gives each of her vivid characters plausible motives and overlapping secrets, effectively laying the groundwork for a cascade of plot twists, each more jolting than the last. Fantastic!
I’m not sure if I’ve ever left 5 stars for anything, but this one deserved it.
First of all, I’ve read all of this authors books so far, and you can truly see her growth as an author (although I’ve enjoyed all of her books thus far).
The characters were well-developed and the plot was captivating with lots of twists. I figured out a couple of the secrets but definitely was surprised by the ultimate way things turned out! I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes a book that keeps you guessing right til the end. Looking forward to what this author has planned next. Bravo!
