Pepper's world revolves around Max.

He's big, grouchy, and mean, but he loves her so much that she gets a toothache from how sweet he is to her.

Successful in running his billion-dollar international company, Max is contradictory to the yummy sweets that he would bring home for her.

She loves being controlled by him; it feels right to be dependent on him when he takes good care of her.

He is her lifeline, and she would do anything to stay on his good side.

Then, Mr. Stephan comes in with his equally massive body, stormy eyes of a pent-up predator, and a desire to stay in her heart forever.

He also wants to be a part of her life, but she doesn't know how that's going to work. Max is too possessive over her, and he would never let another man touch her.

She's selfish. She wants to be Mr. Stephan's little princess and Max's little girl.
