Jefferson is everything.
This is an overview of the actual book “Alexander Hamilton.“ Kind of like an abbreviated Cliff's Notes for the full book. It provides a potential reader enough information regarding this book’s content to determine if we want to invest the extra money and time to actually buy and read the entire book. Hamilton is one of America's founding fathers whose biography and major contributions are not as well known as many of the others, such as Franklin & Jefferson.
A fact!
In political debates, all parties frequently invoke the Founding Fathers to support their claims or refute the claims of their opponents. One of the Founding Fathers who is seldom mentioned, though, but one of the most influential in terms of the current structure of the federal government, is Alexander Hamilton. The first Secretary of the Treasury and the mind behind the Federal Reserve, Hamilton was an illegitimate child who came to the colonies from the island of Nevis in the British West Indies as a teenager. Through his skill and tenacity he rose to prominence, thus making him an exemplar for the role that immigrants have always played in this country’s history; a fact that certain modern politicians seem to conveniently ignore.
