#1 The Bible teaches that God is actually three in one: Father, Son, and Spirit. The Spirit is the engineer of the universe, and he is relentlessly, intimately, and perpetually involved in the fabric of our earthly environment.

#2 The Trinity is embedded in the first three verses of Genesis. God is the architect, the Spirit is the engineer, and Jesus is the builder. If any of these are ignored, we’ll misunderstand not only the nature of creation but also our own nature and the dignified role God intends for us.

#3 We were created to manage the creation of God. We are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. We continue God’s act of creation.

#4 The Bible is the story of the world being brought back to its original state after it was corrupted by the fall of man. It all started with a couple, then a family, then a nation, and finally it will be restored through the blood of Jesus.
