Widow, Julie Boone has lived her life and is content, so she thought until her daughter gives her the perfect nightmare of a fiftieth birthday gift-her three childhood besties. The arrival of her wildly successful, buttinski friends, overwhelms Julie when her life goes from peaceful to melodrama, makeovers, and matchmaking. Especially when they make her believe there is still life to be lived with one handsome sailor who’s just moved to town.
Trevor Ashford retreats from big city life to sunny Florida after a failed marriage and damaged reputation. His only wish is to open a small boat charter company in peace, but when Houdini-a mischievous pet ferret-steals an engine part and leads him on a merry chase into the arms of Julie Boone, he has to choose between being a recluse or embracing a new love.

Friends forever
It is rare to have a friend for a lifetime, and Julie is fortunate enough to have three! She also has a daughter who is very loving and supportive. They all come to the island in Florida that they grew up on, to celebrate Julie’s fiftieth birthday. She has spent her whole life in the same spot and struggles with some of the issues that arise from that decision. Trevor is new to the island but comes with some baggage that will need to be resolved. When the two meet, they feel an instant attraction. The relationship felt rushed with too much too soon. The friends celebrate in traditional and new ways the birthday as well as the reunion. If you want to escape to a beautiful beach with lovely, talented women, to get lost in friendships renewed, with a clean romance on the side, I would definitely recommend this book!

Heartwarming romantic read
Just finished the first book in your Friendship Beach series and lovvvvvedddd it. Was in awe over the chemistry between Trevor and Julie, inspired by the close friendship between Trace, Wind, Kat, Bri, and of course Julie. Was hooked right when I started the first chapter and didn’t want it to end when I finished the last chapter. Can’t wait to continue to read the rest of the books in the series
Fun and emotional
Julie has been widowed for a few years and still hasn’t moved on so her daughter calls in her best friends from school to come home and help. Trevor has just gotten a bad divorce and has moved to start his life over completely. When an imp of a rodent steals a piece of his motor and leads Trevor on a merry chase through town and he ends up at the door of none other than Julie, he immediately knows he has met the woman for him. Not only that but Julie finally realizes that she is waking up too. As Julie and Trevor go through the reasons why they shouldn’t fall for each other, their fun and exciting romance endures the emotional stirrings of the remembrance of Julie’s past with her husband and the real live version of a not so gone, but trouble making ex wife before they can get their HEA. Fun read.
