Summer Resort

When tragedy strikes Trina Jackson’s uncomplicated, carefree world, she has to find a way to cope with the pain as well as the feeling of blame. Her answer comes in the form of a summer job as a waitress at the Bowspray Hotel hundreds of miles from home. Caroline Maxwell, also on her way to the same hotel, will be waitressing for her second summer. After last year’s events, she is surprised at her decision to go back. She thought she’d never want to see Banff, Alberta, Canada again, but she is returning to find a lost love. Instead, she finds terror. The train rides to Banff for both Caroline and Trina, which involve two cowboys, a suave businessman, a handsome lifeguard, and a briefcase full of money, set in motion a chain of events that will change their lives forever. This is one summer that they will never forget. They encounter love, fear, jealousy, sadness, and friendship in the midst of the enchantingly beautiful Canadian Rockies.
