Summer Whispers

In Briar Glen the trees watch. 

In the fog-choked outskirts of Briar Glen, where an ancient, gnarled tree stands guard over a decaying wooden bridge: 

Every ten years, the red eyes of the Great Oak don't just glow—they blink. The local teenagers call it a game of "Red Light, Green Light," believing that if you move while the eyes are open, the tree claims a piece of your shadow. But when Leo and his friends attempt the vigil under a rare blood moon, they discover the game has higher stakes. As the legendary **13th plank** appears on the bridge, Leo realizes that losing your shadow is only the beginning. 

Three summer stories. Teenagers see it as a chance to witness something. What they see is an invisible 13th plank that appears during a blood moon, red eyes, and the whispering ghosts that need a simple offering: a leaf. 

Briar Glen isn't your ordinary town. It is a whispering Glen, a summer setting. The teens give more than they wanted. Instead of taking a summer memory, it gets their reflection.
