Publisher Description
Is Azkun an ancient hero returned to save them all or just a madman with absurd ideas about dragons? The King of Anthor has no time for ancient heroes and even less time for dragons. Old crimes are coming back to haunt him and old enemies are stirring on his borders. His last hopes may lie with Azkun, whoever he is.
This is a gritty fantasy with no elves anywhere.

Slow to start
Summon your dragons was very slow to start, and fast to end.
Character development was slow and choppy. Once it finally got rolling along I was glass I was reading it, but it took a few chapters to get going. I thought the ending could have been increased for a better read. As it is, I felt like i spent a lot of time getting there, and then it was all summed up in two pages. Would probably have less stars if it was not free. It was worth reading, just not sure about getting the sequel.......
