Really good
I’d prefer it to be much longer but still a very great book and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. :)
Interesting take on magic
A great book about alternate dimensions and what happens when you draw demons from other worlds.
The world and magic system are well thought out and it’s nuances worked into the plot at a steady pace so you aren’t overwhelmed.
The plot is a bit cliche and overdone with villain A being the hero’s father and villain B, his brother, but a great refreshing read on a world of magic.
All in a fun refreshing read.
A Great Prequel
This is great to read for anybody who hasn't read the first book. As the description explains, it's a prequel and it introduces to you a character that you will meet while reading "The Novice"
