Wade Faulkner is in the coast guard and gets called to an emergency mayday call in the middle of his cousins wedding. When he arrives he finds a boat on fire, a body, and someone diving underwater. That someone - Darcy Delmar - is now the main suspect in a murder investigation, and Wade will do anything he can to help prove her innocence and catch the real killer. Shadows Landing has become just a little bit more amazing and interesting, the rich pirate history will be the key to helping Darcy solve a 300 year old mystery. The town's unique residents, and the close knit Faulkner family is ready for another battle. The suspense and mystery in Kathleen's books is always perfectly balanced with the romance, and hilarity. The audio performance by Eric G. Dove was perfectly suited for the book & series.
