Nori can’t remember a time she didn’t run from the sun, which was bad enough, but news of an impending sunscorch delivers her death sentence. She’s already damaged goods. Under the threat of another sunscorch, Nori is forced to find safety underground, and when the mystery man resurfaces, his knowledge of so many subterranean secrets makes her suspicious.



Somewhere beneath a Mexican mountain range, Nori stumbles upon another secret, one that shatters everything she thought she knew. Can she use that knowledge to save what’s left of the world?
