Publisher Description
In the chaos of New York, true love can be hard to find, even when it's been right under your nose all along…
Love has never been a priority for garden designer Frankie Cole. After witnessing the fallout of her parents' divorce, she's seen the devastation an overload of emotion can cause. The only man she feels comfortable with is her friend Matt—but that's strictly platonic. If only she found it easier to ignore the way he makes her heart race…
Matt Walker has loved Frankie for years but, sensing how fragile she is beneath her feisty exterior, has always played it cool. But then he uncovers new depths to the girl he's known forever and doesn't want to wait a moment longer. He knows Frankie has secrets and has buried them deep, but can Matt persuade her to trust him with her heart and kiss him under the Manhattan sunset?
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Morgan whips up a sweet tale using the backdrop of spirited New York City in her second From Manhattan with Love contemporary (after Sleepless in Manhattan). Events planner Frankie Cole has resigned herself to being forever single, believing that all relationships are doomed. She wears eyeglasses that she doesn't need in order to repel any man who might be interested in her. This strategy works until Matt Walker, a friend of a friend, reenters her life, and Frankie finds herself incredibly drawn to him. The author does a wonderful job of depicting Matt's point of view, making it clear that he's attracted to Frankie even more because of her superfluous eyewear. Frankie is an adorable and lovable character whom readers will passionately champion. She's amusing and cute as she tries her best to avoid the man who sets her heart afire, and the warm and clever way Matt pursues her will make any reader swoon. Morgan's novel delivers the classic sweep-you-off-your-feet romantic experience.

Sunset in Central Park
Another great book! I have enjoyed every book that I have read by this author.
Sunset in Central Park
Frankie just won't admit her attraction for Matt. This is what I loved about this story- how they work through her issues to go from friends to more than friends.
Loving this Love from Manhattan trilogy which brings love to three best friends. In this one, Matt has to be patient while he tries to overcome all Frankie's defenses while not ruining his friendship with her.
Sara Morgan has a wonderful way with words that creates a memorable story. This is definitely ontogeny those stories.

Big City Romance
Sunset in Central Park is the second book in Sarah Morgan's trilogy, From Manhattan with Love. This lovely story is about Frankie and Matt. Matt has known Frankie since she was six years old, but discovers throughout the story that he may not know her at all. Frankie also learns many things about Matt as well as herself. What is interesting about this book is that Matt realizes he is in love with Frankie long before she can sort out her feelings about him. I liked how the story evolved and how Sarah Morgan let's us understand how and why Frankie is so reluctant to let love and trust into her life. I also liked how patient and tender Matt is with Frankie and what a genuine good guy he is. When Sarah Morgan writes, she lets us enter the world of her characters and we feel as if we are a part of Frankie and Matt's circle of friends. One of my favorite tropes is the friends to lovers and Sarah Morgan has us rooting for these two right from the start. Even though this book is a part of a trilogy, it can stand alone. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
